Man shot by police after stabbing three random persons in The Hague
The Hague - A man was shot by Dutch police after stabbing three random persons in the city of The Hague.

At different locations people got stabbed and injured. Multiple ambulances were dispatched. The victims were (so far as we know) randomly chosen. The suspect, who lives in The Hague at the age of 31, have stabbed multiple people with a distance of about 100 to 200 metres between the stabbings.
Heavenly armed police officers from the anti-terror unit (Rapid Response Team) were quickly on scene. The suspect was shot at the Fijnjekade, a place nearby the stabbings. The attacker was arrested after being shot and tasered.
According to eye witnesses the attacker shouted "Allahoe Akbar" during his attack. Police said the man was known for "confused" behaviour while some reports suggested the attack may have been carried out by an extremist. According to the NOS (largest Dutch news agency), the attacker is from Syria.
The attack took place on a special day; all across the Netherlands on Saturday over one million people congregated in cities and villages to remember the nation's liberation from German occupation at the end of the Second World War.
The victims, a 21-year old man from Zoetermeer, a 41-year old man from The Hague and a 35-year old man from The Hague have been taken to hospitals in critical condition.
